Privacy Policy

Last updated 19 September 2026

This policy explains what fyp.fun stores about you, why, and for how long. fyp.fun collects only what it needs to launch tokens, to match creator fees to a TikTok account, and to pay those fees out.

  1. 1.

    Data from your TikTok login

When you sign in with TikTok, fyp.fun asks TikTok for the following with the scopes user.info.basic and user.info.profile:

    • your TikTok open ID, a stable identifier TikTok issues for this app, used as the key for your account;
    • your username, which is what token launchers type to assign fees to you;
    • your display name and profile picture URL, shown next to your tokens and on the creators page.

fyp.fun also receives an access token and a refresh token from TikTok. They are stored encrypted and are used only to keep your profile information current and to confirm that your login is still valid. fyp.fun does not read your videos, followers, likes or messages, and never posts to TikTok on your behalf.

  2. 2.

    Data from launching a token

Launching writes the token’s name, ticker, image, description, links, fee recipient and the launcher’s wallet address to Robinhood Chain, where it is public and permanent. fyp.fun keeps a copy of the same data in its database to display the token and to index trades and fees. Token images you upload are stored on IPFS through a pinning service and are public.

Typing a TikTok username on the launch page creates a record for that username and a wallet address for it, even before that creator has signed in. That record contains the username, the wallet address and the time it was created.

  3. 3.

    Data from claiming fees

For every claim, fyp.fun stores the destination address you entered, the amounts, the transaction hashes of each step, the outcome and, if it failed, the reason. This is needed to make sure a claim is never paid twice and so you can see what happened.

  4. 4.

    Wallet connection

Connecting a browser wallet shares your wallet address with the site. fyp.fun uses it to build your launch transaction and to show tokens you launched. The site remembers your last used wallet in your browser’s local storage so it can reconnect; nothing else is stored in your browser except the login session cookie.

  5. 5.

    Cookies

fyp.fun sets one session cookie after you sign in with TikTok. It is HTTP-only and secure, is used only to keep you signed in, and is deleted when you sign out or when it expires. fyp.fun does not use advertising or tracking cookies.

  6. 6.

    Who else processes the data

    • TikTok, which handles the login and provides the profile data above.
    • Vercel, which hosts the website.
    • A server operated by fyp.fun, which runs the database, the blockchain indexer and the fee payout worker.
    • Alchemy, whose Robinhood Chain RPC service the server uses to read the blockchain and submit transactions.
    • Pinata, which stores uploaded token images on IPFS.
    • Robinhood Chain itself, a public blockchain. Everything written to it is public and cannot be deleted.

fyp.fun does not sell your data and does not share it with anyone else.

  7. 7.

    Public information

The creators page lists every TikTok account that has a token paying it: username, display name, profile picture, wallet address, the tokens, the amounts earned, claimed and unclaimed, and whether the account has signed in. Token pages show the same for their creator. This mirrors what is already visible on the blockchain and is the point of the service. Anything you did not put on chain, such as your TikTok tokens, your open ID and your claim destination addresses, is not public.

  8. 8.

    How long data is kept

Account, launch, trade and claim records are kept as long as the service runs, because they document fee payouts that already happened. TikTok access and refresh tokens are kept until they expire or until you disconnect fyp.fun in your TikTok settings, after which they are marked revoked and no longer used. Server logs are kept for a short time for troubleshooting.

  9. 9.

    Your choices

    • You can disconnect fyp.fun from your TikTok account at any time under TikTok’s connected apps. fyp.fun then stops using your tokens and you need to sign in again to claim.
    • You can ask for your TikTok profile data and tokens to be deleted. Your wallet record and the fee history stay, because fees already assigned on chain remain claimable by that account.
    • You can stop using the site at any time. Nothing on the blockchain can be removed by fyp.fun.
  10. 10.

    Security

TikTok tokens are encrypted at rest. The key material for custodial wallets is derived from a secret that never leaves the server and is never written to logs or sent to a browser. Access to the server is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, and fyp.fun keeps the amounts it holds limited to unclaimed fees.

  11. 11.

    Changes and contact

fyp.fun may update this policy; the date at the top shows the current version. Questions and deletion requests go to the operator through the channels listed in the site footer. The Terms of Service describe how the service works.
